Commission Memo
This form lets us know a commission you’ve earned is about to be received.
This form is for Commissions NOT being paid at closing. Referrals are not paid at closing, most others are eligible to be paid at closing - in which case you should complete the CDA (Commission Disbursement Authorization) form instead - also found here -- go back to Section 08 of the Agent Services page.
This form is not a guarantee of payment. This information will be verified. Firelight Realty will only send your commissions after we receive the total commission from cooperating entities (broker, title co, R.E. attorney, etc.).
Once received, you’ll be sent a Secure Link to complete your W9 and choose your payment preference - you only need to do this once, unless you wish to change your Payment Preference - then Contact Us -- do NOT include Payment Info of any type outside of the Secure Link.
Your commission will be scheduled no later than 2 business days after we receive the applicable funds and those funds are deemed to have cleared.
If you’ve chosen Direct Deposit, expect your commission in your account within 1-5 days - this is bank dependent and is not controlled by Firelight.
Paper checks are expected to arrive one week after issuance.
Melio MAY offer an option to receive your funds faster - for a fee. We do not recommend this, but it is your choice and Firelight does not receive any compensation should you choose this. You do NOT need to pay any additional fee to receive your commission in the standard delivery time.
No payments will occur until all agent onboarding forms are uploaded and received by Firelight Realty — see Section 01, Onboarding Documents.
